Mental Health Revelations

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to sit opposite a vulnerable person who expects you to be able to help? As a psychotherapist (counselor), this is something I had to deal with every day for over two decades.

When in practice, I was part of the massive mental health industry and understandably subjected to rules and regulations designed to keep the public safe. However, those same rules and regulations have stifled creativity for decades. As a result, treatment for most conditions has changed very little, other than for new medications that regularly appear courtesy of an equally massive Pharma industry.

I have been trying to introduce changes throughout my career with little success, but now I have retired, I am no longer subject to those restrictions and am free to speak out.

This is my journey from my first client to retirement - the challenges, emotional highs and lows, mistakes, regrets, and, most importantly, the new discoveries I made. I’m bypassing the profession and sharing these directly with you.
